Connecting the CreepyGram Dots - THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES
Not all of the CreepyGrams were self-contained stories. Many were appended or continuances to other tales that may have slipped by the occasional reader. In that respect, the purpose of this blog post is to link those pieces of connective tissue to resemble a somewhat larger body.
Case in point is the following. These stories meld together in a strange, sometimes grisly fashion. Read them in the suggested order for an entirely new perspective from the realms of the unknown.
THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES
It was evident within the CreepyGram sojourns into the congruent realms that vampires ran amok in many realities. This unpleasant fact was weaved throughout the books. In all, there were seven instances where the blood suckers were center stage, though truth be known there were other times they merely hid in the shadows.
In the book “31 Graves for October”, there was one story called All That We See Or Seem. The continuance of that storyline was told in the CreepyGram segment entitled Return To Norley Manor. Call it a family legacy.
Law of Salvage tells us that vampires have been around since the times of the great sailing vessels. It is just too bad they didn’t stay there. It makes the heart sink, doesn’t it?
In The Accord, we see that in addition to blood sucking politicians, vampires also can’t keep out of world affairs. If the friend of our enemy wants to eat us, does that make him our friend or enemy? History will tell.
In modern times, it seems that vampires are still alive and well. They also don’t have a shelf life when it comes to freezer burn. Frost Bite shows what happens when things thaw out a bit.
Part of The Accord was that we had to transport them monsters all around. We also had to store them in warehouses for a while until they could search for food. That is, unless the food searches them out as what happened in Autumn Rains.
In the post-apocalyptic world where vampires have come out of hiding to take over the world, it’s only the mobsters that have the ferociousness to fight back. Vampires beware. They should know that you Don’t Mess With Mama Kess.
Also set in the post-apocalypse was Delivery System. Humans make easy prey, but they are also ever-so-tricky. Vampires have more than mobsters to contend with in their struggle for dominance. Tricky humans.
