FLASH FIC FRIDAY - CLAUSTROPHOBIA
Flash Fic - a short, short story of exactly 100 words...posted on random Fridays!
This week – Claustrophobia
In the cramped elevator, the walls closed in, suffocating. Panic seized my chest, heart pounding against my ribs. My brow dripped sweat, mingling with fear.
The elevator jolted to a halt. Darkness enveloped, swallowing any remaining hope. Breath shallow, I clawed at the walls.
Minutes stretched into eternity. My mind teetered on the edge of madness.
Then, a flicker—a glimmer of light. Relief surged as the doors creaked open. I stumbled into the open space, gasping for air.
But the claustrophobia remained, an ever-present shadow, ready to reclaim me in confined spaces. I never got out of my head.
