Sunday Funny Papers - The Dednex Comic Strip #1

 

Well, folks, here's where you catch a glimpse into the insanity that is the hyperactive hamster running and falling of the wheel in my head. Too many ideas and way too little focus or time for completion. Sometimes, however, I do occasionally finish something. But not today!

I originally wanted to do this as an illustrated book of comic strips. Then, I thought I might animate them as hosts of a public domain horror movie show on YouTube. Hell, I might still do that. Seems like a lot of work, though. Who knows.

All I have completed thus far on the project are illustrating the characters and coming up with a few comic strips. Be forewarned, though, these comics are filled with "Dad" jokes. I yam what I yam.

Without further adieu, I wanted to present "The Dednex", a clan of undead redneck hillbilly monsters. The Cutshaw family consists of Uncle Jasper (the zombie), Cousin Ned (the werewolf), Auntie Gilda (fish lagoon monster), Mumsie (a mummy), and the twins - Lonnie and Donnie (vampires). 

If you want the Denex to, pardon the pun, live...please let me know. The project is fun but currently doesn't have enough draw to take away from other creative endeavors.
