This week – Fleeting Fire

In the meadow, the summer night came alive with a gentle flicker. Fireflies danced, casting a mesmerizing glow. Their ethereal light weaved intricate patterns, illuminating the darkness like tiny stars. I watched, captivated by their delicate beauty. Each tiny beacon held a secret, a fleeting moment of enchantment. As I reached out to touch the magic, they scattered, vanishing into the velvety black. A sense of longing washed over me, a yearning to be part of their luminescent world. But alas, they remained elusive, like dreams just out of reach. And so, I stood, forever chasing the summer’s night fireflies.
