This week – SUMMER, SLOWLY DYING

As summer's golden reign drew to a close, a palpable melancholy settled over the small coastal town. Children went back to school. Their laughter faded like a distant melody, replaced by the mournful sighs of autumn's approach. The once-bustling beach now stood desolate, the waves mourning the absence of eager swimmers. Sun-kissed days dwindled, and the sky's vibrant hues gave way to a more somber palette. A final sunset painted the horizon in fiery shades, bidding adieu to lazy afternoons and salty breezes. In twilight's embrace, the town held its breath, bracing for the inevitable grip of autumn's cool embrace.
