This week –CLOCKWATCHER

    The old clock tower was abandoned. Then, it began chiming at midnight. Locals warned children to stay away from the haunted place. Yet Ella was fascinated by the clock. As the clock struck twelve, she found herself surrounded by wraithlike figures, each representing an hour. They whispered, "Choose." Confused, Ella pointed to the third apparition. Instantly, she was thrust into a time loop, forever reliving the third hour after midnight. The next day, locals heard the clock chime thrice, then silence. They found Ella's shoes at the base of the clock, though they heard her scream every day at three.
