Connecting the CreepyGram Dots - EVIL CORPORATION

Not all of the CreepyGrams were self-contained stories. Many were appended or continuances to other tales that may have slipped by the occasional reader. In that respect, the purpose of this blog post is to link those pieces of connective tissue to resemble a somewhat larger body.

Case in point is the following. These stories meld together in a strange, sometimes grisly fashion. Read them in the suggested order for an entirely new perspective from the realms of the unknown.

EVIL CORPORATION

Whether the company was known as SynTech or TerraOrg, this corporation was always up to no good. It is written into their corporate mission statement and a midnight black tally in their profit and loss statement. Their business model is evil.
Several stories followed this company, sometimes across time and the multi-verse. These usually involving monstrous results. They always involved a total lack of humanity.
The first is a sandwich delivery woman who just happens to see a corporate venture escape in The Wrong Place at the Wrong Time. This mistake lead to an employee paying a very high price in Outpatient. Two would-be heroes witnessed the horrific event in Paved with Good Intentions
Even an evil corporation needs a customer service department. In Call Control, we see how those employees deal with angry patrons. Their call is important, but it still has to be answered in the order in which it was received.
Marketing is a big part of the evil corporation. This is evident in Focus Group and Field Test. Not to be outdone, the Research and Development team works tirelessly to conceive of new products and experiences. The Organ and Memory Reimagined are fruits of those efforts.
Finally, when you never seem to have enough time to cut out your competition, perhaps time itself can be changed. A trio of absolutely true tales does just that. Spring Forward, Fall back, and The Tavern at Forever’s Edge play with not only time travel but mess around with that ubiquitous multi-verse for fun and profit.
