This week – THE STONE CROSS

    In the dark cemetery's meandering path was a section reserved for the unrighteous. Criminals, cutthroats, and worse resided in that forgotten corner of the graveyard. There, a vampire named Lucian yearned for freedom. 

    Nightly, he clawed at the earth to escape. An unseen force held him back. Until one moonlit night, the reason was revealed in shadow. An ornate cross marked his grave. The symbol of salvation became his curse. He screamed, unheard. Lucian closed his eyes, forever bound by the cross’ power. The moon cast its ghostly glow, a haunting reminder of the eternal battle between darkness and light.
